i dont have any clicking now, after messing with it, seemed to go away
still have a good voltage drop when in gear and on the brakes

"Brake Interlock Switch" could be,(emphasis on "could") the source of your issue!

that being said, i'd look to a bad ground first.(common prob, on these cars).
for about 12-15 buck'* a cure to a lot of woe'* on the aurora, are add on ground wires
for me it was one 24" and one 32" cable.
mounted like this (be sure to sand to clean metal) on the tower.

i have the ground from the strut tower to the coil pack, maybe i should do the engine block one too
