No. The Bonnie saved her life, but that car is smashed. It looks like when that Nissan hit it, it was moving across the road and to the right of the Bonnie. When it hit, it smashed the right fender straight back, but it pulled the core towards the right, pulling the left fender with it. Everything forward of the firewall was pulled to the right, and the passenger cage was probably badly twisted as well.

it sad that the husband and wife lost their lifes, but bonnevilles really hold up good in accidents.

this is why I drive bigger cars...

My dad worked in the hosptial when I was growing up and I always heard stories about people dieing driving "tin can cars"

I agree with Hans.

My mom was in a bad accident, when I was little. She was driving a Chevette... aka Tin Can on wheels. Anyways, a chevy pickup hit it. The car looked like a wad of discarded aluminum foil. It'* really a miracle that my mom is alive, to be honest.

So, I'm a huge fan of 'big' cars.

I'm a tall guy, It'* a MUST that I have a big car for my long legs, that'* why I love the bonnie so much.
