Hey thanks Morty!!! :P I'm honored that you think so.

And lowrider, I understand how you would get tired of it. Sometimes it happens to me too, for example at school I keep getting harassed that I was driving a "gramps" car and I became defensive then I realized it just egged them on more so I started to say, "yeah I drive a gramps car so what?" It died quickly. So just say yeah so what? I'm proud of it.

Fuel, anyone who gives you crap needs to look at those rims.. When I get my daily driver in a couple months, I'm putting rims on that look like yours.. maybe darker paint, but definately that pattern.

Opinions are like ******** and everyone has one. Take stuff with a grain of salt and don't let it get to you. Hell, you got cotm and I've never had that. Count your blessings and good comments because they far outweigh the negative stuff.

I don't think there is a problem with people voicing their opinions. I also don't think there is a problem with a little egging on and joking. But it seems to me, and this posts shows someone else is thinking this way, that there seems to be a lot more of it and it'* all over the place now. It also seems to focus it self on those individuals who have said type of cars, which would cause them to start taking it more personnal.

I also see it a lot more when people are looking at cars that aren't SSEi'* or supercharged. The comments and "jokes" that are made seem to make people almost ashamed to buy the car.

Another thing is putting things in your sig is also tiresome cause even though you only "said" it once, you "say" it in every post you make. Personnally, I turned off signitures partly because of that reason.

And i know everyone at some point makes a joke here or there, but there are definitely some members who I think abuse it and go overboard. I express my opinion to an admin when I think this occurs and don't bring it up publically to avoid too much drama, cause this board is better than that.

In the 4 years that I have been here, I think this has to be one of the best forums I have been a part of and has been the most accepting and has the least amount of drama. Unfortunately, recently with all of this it seems that we are losing focus of this and the new member retention doesn't seem to be quite as high. it is good to see the new members here, but there are many more that introduce themselves and then we hear nothing more. I am not saying it is due to this, but it could be part of it.

I personnally would much rather drive my NA lumina than my bonneville just cause I enjoy it and it'* fun. And my next bonneville will not have a SC.

I agree with Andrew that things have been getting out of hand and have been building slowly. Hopefully as a group we can become more accepting of everyone. This is my opinion. I know atleast Willwren knows my position on things and I think they have been doing a great job to keep things well and good as they were before andupdating things that needed to. props to the adins for this. Hopefully this issue can be resolved to benefit everyone.

There are alot of things I think are ugly, and all of us have I right to say our personal likes and dislikes. I don't mind bubblebutts. DJ'* SSEi is a good example of a sexy bubble, same with your car. The red interior on woodgrain is ugly to me, just a personal preference. I also don't like the plastic body color rims on 92+.

I own one of the ugliest Bonneville'* ('89) on the club, but I wouldn't care if someone made fun of it. As long as it is beautiful in YOUR eyes, that is all that matters. I can also almost be sure that anyone on this club making these comments are not doing so to hurt feelings. I would just take it with a grain of salt is all.
