If you're swapping bulbs, then you're introducing moisture in there, and if it'* not sealed just perfect then you will get moisture. Drilling holes IMO is a bandaid, and not a fix.

A mist would easily be able to get the inside of them wet....
At this point drilling the holes is a bandaid fix, but if I goto a 3rd set, I'll be sealing them up.
Another thing to consider with failures (especially rings) is how they were wired. I know many people don't use the supplied wiring at all, so they could be putting 12v into the rings, and LED'* don't last long that way.

My first pair of AE'* cracked so i replaced them with another pair of the same brand. Then the switch to run the ring went out on me. Luckly I had an extra switch from the 2nd pair. Then my AE''* cracked on me again, and not only that my switch went out too.
So my question is to everyone else is what kind of AE'* do you run and do you have any problems with them?
I use to run APC.

really? all these bad "Angel Eyes" I thought there would not be such a problem, U guys sound like you were better off stock. I haven't had any problems with mine so far, I always run my headlights (so the rings always on) I'm actually shocked to see I still have a full halo ring. I have had no problems as of yet.
There is sometimes something good to be said for stock.
The only Angel Eyes I saw on a Bonne...Taylor'*....were nice but one of his had a broken glass. He said it must have just happened, maybe a rock, but from listening to you others I think there is some other problem that breaks the glass. The odds of all getting broken by rocks is remote.
Could be a thermal problem caused by the high output :?

Oh...stock is better alright. I bought the car, screwed a front plate on it...lights are fine. I get home...1 cracked foggy. aka...the whole reason for Angel replacements
