Good friend of mine that i work with has a 92 sse with 266,000 miles on it. Its white and apparently it started on fire once. (white curse??? believe it) still drives great and he claims it to have corvette springs. Well he said that hed give it to me if it ever broke down. Since he doesnt like his bonneville as much as i do, he doesnt really care if it stops running. All i really wanted was the tail lights... maybe the 9 way power seats. I found out today that he backed into a telephone pole damaging the big part of the sse tail light. I checked it out and its pretty bad. all there is left to wonder how long it will run

266k though..I would say it got plenty of use even if it was abused..

Corvettes have transverse leaf springs... you sure hes got that?

Yeah and four wheel independent suspension (well the later ones, solid axle until 1963, but I wouldn't brag about having those springs.)
