Umm those mods don't affect the compression ratio, and they don't affect how the gas itself burns, or when it burns.... So the gas would still detonate the same. Aren't those 3.0 or 2.9 pulleys smaller then stock?

less heat made (ie. an intercooled engine)=less detonation.

Yes but there are other things that make it run hotter then it would stock, so it would even out in the end i bet...
