Default Ah Dealers......

So I had my car back to the dealer to repaint the hood and put on two new tires and two lugnut covers. I already posted that I found they only did a cheap repaint on the area that was bubbling when I looked at it in the parking lot of the dealer. Well then I take it home yesterday and find they knocked the balance weight off the pass. front wheel, and left off one of the lugnut covers, geesh!!

is that the dealer where you originally purchased the car? It'* really a shame how people conduct business now-a-days, It seems people aren't about the right anymore :? have you alerted them to your most recent situation? I'd really be finished with them after this latest faulter,

Damn shame. Like everything, there are good ones, there are bad ones. This is undoubtedly a bad one.

Fortunatly I have one that is realistic, and will suggest when they should d a job, or if I would be better off doing it myself. I wish they were all like this.

When they send out the customer survey,if they do,make sure you put that in the comments.

Fortunately,I've got one of the better dealerships that I deal with

How much did they charge you!? That'* what I'm curious about. Dealerships (and even just body shops) like to cut corners.

Yes it was the dealer I bought it from. It was part of the deal for the car so it didn't cost me anything. They would repaint the hood (bubbling), put on two new tires in front, and replace a missing lugnut cover, and one that was broken.

I'm not upset about it yet, just disappointed that they took the cheap route on the paint job. I actually found out it wasn't even the body shop that painted it, just some guy they have come in and do work at the dealer (body shop is across town). So I left a message with the salesman to discuss. I basically want them to repaint it properly, or give me something in writing that states they will stand behind the repaint and redo it if it comes back. The guy has been great to deal with so far, he even offered me a demo car to drive while they had mine. So I'm pretty confident we'll get it resolved.

The bubbling on the hood is probably the corrosion issue that the 00+'* have. It will come back if the hood does not get replaced. It happened to me, and the first time they repainted but it came back, so I asked them to replace the hood.

Well I talked with the salesman about the hood, and mentioned the other two issues, and I found out he actually put a couple spare lugnut covers in the console that I didn't know about. At least I can say the salesman has been very professional and helpful.
