That thread wasn't locked just for the sake of moderating. Read Bill'* comments above. The moderators do follow guidelines.
I didnt post to slam moderatorating Vital, it was just a post that I found pertinent to something I used to help me with my car. To me it seems the "do not dig up old threads is just too Black and White". but I do commend the moderators here, for all the traffic and info that goes through this site, it is certainly top notch.
Agreed. The mods and admins here are phenominal its just this one little thing that irks the living crap out of me. If someone wants to post ON TOPIC and has pertinant information that belongs in that topic, it shouldn't matter how old the topic is. There is no point in making people search all over for information that can be considered as appropriately posted just because the original topic is older than a few months. That is all i'm saying.

If they are not all that expensive, I would be willing to try it, but the thing that got me is the OBD connector type. Will it even fit mine?

I havent even looked at the connector yet.
Same connector, and a similar enough pinout that it may very well work. We may be able to convince Pdad or the Bullet to let me plug it into my 95 in a couple weeks when they get here.

We could also possibly look into it at INTENSE if they have any on hand or we have a member show with one?

I very much agree with the above.

I understand the reasoning behind some of it especially with older out of date threads but Paul'* post in that thread was germaine and appropriate.
Yes Mark, that Pisssed me off

It was a good question and because of you I didn't get any answers before I completed the install.
All went well. I refered to the owners manual and found that the correct Brown wire for power is the one next to the yellow wire that is at one end.
Works great.
I chose a different color scheme that some may not like but meh, I do.

Thanks for posting this thread before I did Rogue and supporting me.
Do you have that PCM coming yet?

Read my comments above. It'* a policy for a reason, but it'* a judgement call on the part of each Moderator. If you get one locked, simply link to it as a reference and start a new topic.

This doesn't happen often, but it does happen for a reason. There is no 'black and white'. It'* a grey area that has to be determined with the best judgement of the Moderator that finds the old topic. Please cut the Mods some slack. They're very busy with 1000 new posts a day.

Hello,
I would like to know if you have a similar item for OBDI. I currently drive a 94 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi and saw this on the Forum I belong to.
Is there one for OBDI Series 1 supercharged 3800'*?

Thanks,
Anthony McFee

For both connector styles? 12-pin ALDL as well as 16 pin? 92/93 used the 12. Can you ask?

Email sent. I will post up the reply. It would be really nice if I could get one of these and make it work.
