When I said 50-60 it'* because that'* what most will probably see. I have seen some cars even lower.

Sounds like on that 20 minute ride the temp was coming down..although the car was pretty steamy to begin with?

every AC tech guy i speek to says that it should cool down the air about 30 cooler then what the out side temp is.

yeah prety much if its like 90F or hotter its better to just have the windows down

yup, first car with AC, i wanna use it!
lol yeah, i only use the ac when its raining and its hot in the car/ fogging up, but if its nice out i have the windows down, also saves gas

Anything you can do to "nurse" the system will get you comfortable faster. Consider rolling down all the windows when you first get in the car, while the a/c is running. This will get the really hot air out of the car, while the system begins to send cool air to the vents. It will significantly help.

I hear that if your freon levl is down, then there is a leak in your system. AC systems are not suppose to lose any freon........is what I hear
