Default 52

Haven't seen Delco at our WalMart.
Note of caution: PF 52'* hang down below the frame on a K motor.
The wife actually dented mine on the 96 going on a driveway with a large hump.
Went back to PF-47.

so when they changed the body stylein 00, they changed the oil filter plate as well then? yours doesn't hang below the frame, or oil pan?
on the 00+ Bonnevilles the Oil Filter adapter, and the oil pan are totally different, and allow the use of the PF52 with no issues

Thanks for the info Harro! I went back the next day and picked up a half dozen 52'*. Happens to be the same size as my 91 and 99 Astro'*. I'll just use the 47'* on the wifes Montana and GP GT. Also, I happened to check a smaller Wall Mart today here in St Paul. The shelf was marked for AC Delco'* but none were left. I think they will all start stocking them soon. Now lets hope they start stocking the AC air filters too!

I think Wal Mart is trying to carry their poor home brand, Fram, and then one from each of the Big 3. My area'* Wal Marts have Motorcraft and Mopar.
