Moving to General Chat. This isn't a mechanical issue.

I took a look at the car. the car is in really good shape. Didn't get the service record tho, thety did a carfax and the only service that came up was in 04 with 3,300 miles on it. The car was a lease. it has 54,900 miles on it. now heres the deal they were offering 17,775.. they dropped it down to 17,675. they dropped it a hundred.

I've heard alot of members in this thread say drop it down, 18 is too high for this car. well I've looked on cars.com, autotrader, and ebay.. and all the cars I have seen, which has probaly been a dozen or2 have all been 18 or above. and the few that are under 18, in the 17'* have high mileage or 1 I saw was selling for I believe 16,9 something but was like 700 miles away and for all I know the conditon could be worse. How many more places should I look to get the price down? the market doesn't seem to have these cars lower, even tho you guys are saying so.

In my case, I negotiated very hard and wouldn't take "no" for an answer. I also knew that these cars don't sell well. Also, remember that you are in a different car market. It is perhaps the case that 17k is good in your market, but over 50k??? I'd be hard nosed with them.

SO I went to look at the car and they said the best they could do was 17675. so I said I wanted it at 17200.. and they refused. today they said they sold the car however today they also just put it up for 19,900.. lol.. for a car with 55k. they are crazy..
