You must have got some strange looks from people walking by...

I hate it when that happens to, luckily it has only happened to me at home so the spare set is readily available. Sometimes when I'm getting out I'm grabbing 10 different things (books, stereo, lunch) and I almost forget the keys until the instant before I press that power lock button and close the door.

That'* why I only lock the doors with the key fob!!!

Even when I had cars without remote power locks, I would typically lock the doors with the key from the outside... That was brought on by locking myself out acouple of times! LOL.

Now I've got AAA so if I do lock myself out, I call them and I don't end up with a bent door frame.

I showed Jseabert once how to slim jim my car. Took me 2 minutes to get in. A couple weeks later, his Mom came by to tell me he'd locked himself out at the auto parts store. I went over there and it took me half an hour to jimmy the lock with my slim jim. Hit or miss for me depending on the day. Or maybe it'* an SSEi/SSE thing!

we bought one of these kits for my work
http://www.lockpickshop.com/page/LPS/PROD/AT/AK04
I do maintenance at a health clinic and youd be amazed
at how many people lock there keys in there cars.(sometimes with babys in them)
I have to admit Im pretty good at getting into just about any
car with the exception of mini vans. for some reason they give
me a hard time. but I usually win.
Only once a lady flipped out because of a baby inside and called
the police. and when you do that for this matter they call the
fire dept. I got it open before they got there.
