Default 98' SSEi Boost questions

Before I replaced the engine the boost gauge at idle was either way of 0. Now after new engine it reads -10 at idle and jumps up to zero when throttle is engaged. What is the normal idle HG of the boost gauge.

Normal should be in the -9 range.

What would be the highest reading you would see under normal operation?

As far as boost goes? WOT should see about 7psi or so with a stock pulley.
