I just checked. Thumbscrews wouldn't work. They are too big. Bandits idea won't work..the hood is in the way.

Honestly.the thumbscrew wouldn't be easy to remove either. When was the last time one came off easy ? lol

I've had silverstars for 2 years now and no signs of burning out.
