Default Headlight removal..HELP!!

How do you remove the headlights from a 93 ssei. Not the headlights themselves, but the black housing. I thought you were suppose to be able to just unscrew the 2 black plastic pieces but that doesn't work. Any help? I'm confused..

Unscrew the 2 thumbscrews. Lift upward, then tilt outward.
