The TL is no slouch, I would assume you would get beaten.

And your car is 10 years old..don't feel bad

Got to admire you for trying.
He would be good competition for an SSEi but your NA Bonne just ran out of breath.
Choose your competition wisely or go for more mods.

You should find another Bonne friend with a supercharged model and line him up again. I'd put money on the TL losing badly.

Normal TL would lose badly.

However, for a TL Type-*, I've seen low to mid sixes in the 60mph sprint, so I'd be careful if you're running a bone-stock SSEi

You may be right.
Road & Track..... 0-60 in 6.5 and the 1/4 in 14.9 @ 96 mph.
Car & Driver....0-60 in 7.6 and 1/4 in 16 sec. - maybe it was at a higher elevation.

Well, at least it would be better competition to race a */C version of the Bonne instead of the N/A model.

I killed one in the early summer from a stoplight up to about 40 mph. Got far enough in front of him to see him in the rear view mirror, then I had to turn.
