5 Day Multi-Project
Well me and my girlfriend have 5 days off of school for thanksgiving. So a week or so ago we ordered some needed parts from ZZP and reserved the shop.
The list of things to do:
Install new LIM gaskets
Port and Rebuild Supercharger
Port LIM
De-badge the car
Fix fuel level sensor
Paint rear brake calipers
If we have time Polish and Wax
We started tonight with me on motor and supercharger tear down and Missrockstar04 on the De-badging.
Here are the pics from tonight, we will post up new pics every night.
We only work in Pontiac friendly shops
That'* a genuine Pontiac banner, We used to race a "Pontiac Gran Prix" In quotes because it was a dirt late model with a molded plastic Pontiac nose and an aluminum body.
Looks alright but will look alot cleaner after we get done.
Have the PLOG stuffed down there with exhaust wrap on the crossover.
Blower off the motor.
Blower apart and getting the inlet smoothed. I'm not removing any material just getting rid of the milling step from the factory and smoothing out the casting.
I also started polishing up the outside
One side off. Don't forget to floss!
Just a ghost of what it once was.
Like it was never there, except for the fact that that is the only clean spot on the car now. . . .
More to come tomorrow. . . . well i guess more to come tonight!
