For those that wanted to know here'* the run down on the part numbers and prices.
AC Delco - 4.3L - PF52 / 3.8L - PF47 - same cost $3.88 at Advanced Auto
Mobil 1 - 4.3L - M1-201 / 3.8L - M1-101 - same cost $10.99 at Autozone
Pure-One - 4.3L - PL24011 / 3.8L - PL10111 - same cost $5.88 at Advanced Auto
Purolator - 4.3L - L24011 / 3.8L - L10111 - same cost $2.98 at Advanced Auto
K&N - 4.3L - HP-2001 / 3.8L - HP-1001 - same cost $11.88 at Advanced Auto
Napa Gold - 4.3L - FIL 1036 cost $5.89 / 3.8L - FIL 1040 cost $5.99 at NAPA
Napa Silver - 4.3L - SFI 21036 cost $2.89 / 3.8L - SFI 21040 cost $2.59 at NAPA
Napa Nascar Select - 4.3L - NFI 91036 / 3.8L - NFI 91040 - same cost $3.29 at NAPA
My choice on oil filters would be either Mobil 1 or K&N if you have money burning a hole in your pocket, then Pure-One or Napa Gold, then AC Delco, Purolator, Napa Silver, or Napa Nascar Select. Now I know that there are Fram filters also, but I did not mention them because I think they are garbage.

No, I don't think this is a fight thread, good thing you didn't say mature adults.. because I wouldn't fall under that catagory
.If ZZperformance recommends it, there is no way I won't be doing it. I wonder if mobil 1 filters work best with mobil 1 oil. That would be funny if they said that on their oil and filters!

wondering about what brand filter to buy? Maybe this will help!
http://www.lesabret.com/filters/filter.html
Gives Fram a VERY bad review, and with good reason.
