They have changed things in the past 15 years...

Yep, they changed it with the L27.. but my LN3 has that crap.. crazy isn't it?

I would say they know what they are doing over there. So I will trust that the 4.3L is better.

My choice on oil filters would be either Mobil 1 or K&N if you have money burning a hole in your pocket, then Pure-One or Napa Gold, then AC Delco, Purolator, Napa Silver, or Napa Nascar Select. Now I know that there are Fram filters also, but I did not mention them because I think they are garbage.

Yes, getting the old PCV valve was not easy, and it was kinda falling apart from the beginning, so that didn't help. The tstat housing had been leaking since I replaced the tstat several weeks ago, but now that is fixed, and so is the PCV valve. No real damage, just a PITA for me for the time being of the "fix"

No, I don't think this is a fight thread, good thing you didn't say mature adults.. because I wouldn't fall under that catagory .

If ZZperformance recommends it, there is no way I won't be doing it. I wonder if mobil 1 filters work best with mobil 1 oil. That would be funny if they said that on their oil and filters!
