350 El Camino
1985 v-8 El Caminos were 305s not 350s the only 350 El Caminos in the 80s' were diesel. The 305 only had 150 Hp in 1985.
Now if your friend or the previous owner put a 350 in it then that'* a different story.

If was was a nice 350 then sure, but the late late 70'* and the 80'* were horrible years for most GM cars. I mean, vette'* with that little power? THe ZR-1 was definetly a wake up!!! God i want one of those...

You're kidding? So the "beastly" 87 Monte Carlo that gives me a rev in town each time I see him has less then a stock L27? Allow me to puke some more...
Now if you're comparing a 350 outta say, oh our '98 yukon for example... Well it'* supposedly got 265 HP and like 330 Ft/lbs.... That'* under rated though.. Speaking of under rated i might have a chance to do some dyno'in here at school for a friends project.... We'll see!

the 80'* were some sad years but i still want my 87 or 88 monte may not have lots of hp but its got tq and a 350 bolts right up and uses all stock computers but werent the el caminos and the monte close to the same thing?
