Is that a nice way saying that we're all a bunch of broke, wishful b@astards? :P

Instead of the pesimistic view on whether the BC members will back up the Bonne, get us an email address and ask members to write GM. This kind of user group/membership works for the Corvette owners. The Vette owners tell GM what they like/dislike. Now look how good the Vette is.
I know I won't be ready for a new Bonne right now but as the kids graduate college, etc a very cool used G8/Bonne would work for me in a couple of years.

GM already reads this Forum regularly to know what our likes and dislikes are.

At least a couple times a month. Which is why we were featured in a magazine published by GM.

We are watched, the Bonneville is dead, and the G8 wasn't intended to be a replacement for the Bonneville.

I would love to see a new bonne hopefully they get the styling correct and give it enough room in the interior. I was not a fan of either in the late models. If they get it right I know what my next large car will once again be

Put an intercooled SC N* in a 4 door RWD GTO with HUD and call it a Bonneville and I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Unless forced to, because of no other options....no RWD for me. Been there, done that, have the T-shirt, and no desire to revisit.

:?: I don't have to drive in ice and snow? Hmmm....wonder what that stuff is that shows up every faill and stays until late spring? If I lived in warmer climates, yeah...i'd be all over it. I'd guess that many of the rah-rah RWD people from the snowy areas have little time behind the wheel of a high HP, high torque engine in snowy/icy conditions...with or without LSD. :P

The G8 is the large car in the poncho family, sorta a GP/Bonnie replacement. I myself wondered why they had a GP that big with the Bonnie around during the last few years. There have been some leaks, or quotes that shouldn't have been said recently, pointing at a RWD, v6 and V8 car that'* basically the new Holden Commodore.

And most sources say it'* Camaro and GTO on the new platform.
