It seems like I hade read something like this a while back, but I was poking around and found this little gem of info on MotorTrends site.

I don't need to ask how excited we all are...but has anyone else heard of this. I was thinking about buying a G6 in the coming years, but now...

i was under the impression that the G8 was coming out in replacement of the Bonneville and the GP

First I've heard of it and with the simple one line blurb, it sounds too good to be true.

If it is, then it will be built on the same rear wheel drive platform as the new GTO.

I searched the net a few different ways for any other mention of a Bonneville Reserection, but to no avail.
