just bought 2004 GXP Bonneville did not come with heads up display can i put it in from another car

If its anything like trying to upgrade a 92-99 Bonneville, its an electrical NIGHTMARE. I tried to remove all of the components from a 98 SSE and half way through destroying the dashboard trying to pull wiring and crap, I gave up. It'* not simple like swapping out the whole dashboard or a module or two. It'* very wire intensive.
