Ya finally found it in techinfo, it says steering wheel position sensor.Not too bad.

Could also be 1 or more wheel speed sensors bad. The paint bubble on the hood is normal for the 2000 year and these are aluminum hoods so they wont rust.

Can I sand that spot and paint over it for now.The reason I thought stability problem might be the steering wheel position sensor is because of the slight knocking felt in the steering wheel itself when turning wheel at 1 oclock or 11 oclock .

I suppose so. There was a recall on certain vins for 2000 for crappy paint jobs on the hoods, you may want to check with the dealer.

Well it was certified ,mechanic said its a great car in great shape,fixed back window regulator,synthetic oil ,changed plugs and I guess I pick it up saturday fo r$7000.Pretty excited now, I only owned my 89 sse 7 months , now my 90 sse for 3/4 months I think Ill keep the 2000 ssei for a long time.Maybe sell the 90sse.thanks for all your input.So you think the hood bubble may be recall.
