My brother is most definitely not a weekend mechanic. He'd pretty much have someone else fix anything that would go wrong with his car, so an ultra-reliable car is definitely a need. I won't be able to do any work on it, I live in California, and they're in central Ohio. However, there are a lot of BonnevilleClub members throughout Ohio.
This is a used car at a dealership, offering a 6 month warranty. I'll have to get them to find out if it only covers the drivetrain, or if it would also cover any leaks or window regulators. It shouldn't need any work immediately, unless it has problems that are hidden.
I know the 2000+ models have complaints of door seal leaks, -what causes them and what is the fix? Is it just bad weatherstrip sealant or something?
