nope no codes, no check engine lights, had it into a mechanic, they pretty much said wait for whatever it is to break, this has been going on for 2 years and gets worse every year.. They said possibly a short and they could try and trace it, but this would cost alot of money!!!

This is very commonly a crank sensor. Usually there is no warning or SES thrown. Since you've done everything else, I'd suggest it.

You might want to look at the ignition switch and also replace the fuel pump. You mentioned earlier that the fuel pump tests ok- possible intermittent failure?

AC Delco fuel pump at rockauto is about $100, Delphi ignition module about $150. Might be worth the investment simply to eliminate possibilities.

Why is it that when my car is running cooler it does not die as much????? I run my heater it cools my engine down even though it is not overheating.....I would really like to know for sure what the problem is I cant afford to throw a ton of money into this car, I am already down about 800.00.....It seems to me a mechanic should be able to tell me , but that hasnt happened yet....I wish it would break just so it could be fixed ahhhh welll sucks to be me.....
