only the front windows might be tinted because the last driver might have had a sun sensitivity problem, therefore rear window tint would not have been an issue, but front would have been. ??

that'* the first thing I thought of as well... however if they did have a sensitivity, they would definitely want the side windows tinted too...

Um. Drove to bonneville county today.

There are more bonnevilles for sale in bonenville county than anywhere else in idaho. I've seen 25 listed on autotrader. My county which is actually the same size has 6 and ADA county (Boise) has 9.

There are currently 2 SSEis for sale in Idaho, they are both in...yes you guessed it.

Good:

CCR works.
Sunroof Works
ECC works great
Interior is in mint shape
It handles great at 90MPH
Never been in a fender bender
1 owner
It was a SUMMER ONLY car, its never seen snow/salt/rust...try to find any rust in the engine bay lol.

Bad:

According to the dealership which has the service records of the car, the only repair they show was an alternator, 20,000 miles ago. EVERYTHING on the car is original

~17PSI of oil pressure at idle, 50-60 at WOT, 45ish at 80mph crusing
It handles the corners WORSE than my car, the suspension is surely orginal

HUD is broken

Brake light comes on during heavy braking

Major oil leak at the valve covers.

Look at the plug wires, I believe they are the ones WILLWREN loves lol.

Its going to be a hard decision, I'm posting the mechanical issues in the proper forum to see if anyone has ideas.

There seems to be some dust on the engine cover, I think I would pass on it

Seriously, do you feel confident about fixing the HUD and suspension? Valve covers shouldnt be too bad, but that broken HUD would give me pause, just because I don't know anything about it.

The CCR was on TOURING RIDE the whole time..the handling is actually ok by me, it was not terrible, just with my new endlinks and low miles car, mine was slightly more stable on the turn I compared with...Keep in mind the turn is rated at 35, I took it at 55 in both cars...I'm not sure if turning on the PERFORM RIDE would change anything, fixing the HUD and the suspension is something I can deal with, I'd love to dump the CCR when it fails anyway

BTW the HUD was completely dead, I did NOT check the fuse. If the problem lies in the HUD unit itself, they are very cheap from wreckers...or the switch which is also cheap at a wrecker. $10 each sorta thing last time I checked.

The main concern is if the oil is just old and the filter is plugged or if the crankcase bearings are on their way out.

17psi at idle It looks great, that'* for sure. Doesn't sound like it needs TOO much work. :?: I'd try to talk them down to $2600 due to the known issues it has, and the possibility of some major issues. If they don't budge, I'd walk.

Was $5890...they dropped to $4890 on december 7th...anyone that mentions autotrader gets $1000 off the normal price.

$3200 is the most I'd offer on it.
