I'm thinking about selling my Bonne. It'* got a lil under 250k on it. The right side fender is broke (hit a tire on the road) and the bottom trim on the right side is also off. I got the pieces saved. The supercharger was rebuilt 2 years ago or so, and I have put a new starter and alternator in it. The leather is fine except the driver seat which has a couple holes by the door, and the motors don't work except the rear up/down. It has the premium cd player and all that good stuff. I'm not for sure if I want to sell it, but I figured I'd see what you guys think or see if any of you want it. I'm trying to see how much I could get for it.[/b]

i think with those issues, and high miles, you wouldn't get as much as you want. If it were me, i would just drive it till it dies.

I figured such. I just wondered if anybody wanted a parts car or engine. The engine would be a good rebuild. The supercharger is rebuilt and figured that might be a selling point. I personally want to keep the car, but the boss of the house thinks my bonne is ugly. I said it could be painted and fixed and it'd might be cooler looking, and I showed her all the cool ones under the car of the month on here, but her reply was that bonnevilles' are ugly, period. Of course I rebutted. I dreamed of this car since I was 15, but, oh well. Anyways, if anybody is interested, it'* ready. It still runs like a r@ped ape.

Just how much money did you want for the car?
I have to build a new shed out back this summer. After the shed is up and I get most of the crap out of the second bay in my garage i was going to look for a 94 engine/trans to build high-performance and then swap it to my 94. Then rebuild the motor and trans that comes out of my car.

I can't do anything until I have a place to put stuff though.
I may be very interested if you have around June.

What did you do?!

If the car is in terrible condition, you could always just cut your losses and start over. You seem to be young, and it'* not like you'll affect your retirement or anything. I'm taking the high road and restoring my 291K mile 94 SSEi, though. Any way you want to go on with this is good as long as you come out on top.

LOL The rims I admitted to her are ugly. There the same color as the car so I painted them black, cause I like the black-out look on cars. I just purchased a set of 98 GTP rims to put on it. I'm trying to get her Monte Carlo fixed so she'll leave my car alone, so hope it all goes well. The car is grandpa gold, as I call it, but with some tint, and a bra for the front, it'd look pretty sweet.

Also, if anybody here is in Michigan, Shultz'* Salvage off Belsay Rd near Millington has a treasure trove of H-bodys. There is over a dozen SSE alone out there, and a couple olds' and stuff. I didn't see any with the engine'* intact, but body and interior wise, a couple of them are PRETTY nice.
