I just got a 94 Bonneville and I bought it without much research into the car. It is a SSE fully loaded with 92k miles on it I payed right around $3k with taxes and other bs dealer fees.

how is the motor on a 94 compared to a 95 series II? more or less reliable?
what caused the 30hp jump the next year? new heads/cam design?

the L27 (what your 94 has) has the potential to me more reliable than the L36 (95+) becasue you dont have the failure of the upper intake like the L36 has. There are many factors that made a 30hp jump on the L36.. one of the factors that it revved higher than the L27, but that is not the only reason
