Personally i wouldn't like owning a car that all of the cops drive around. I'd get sick of looking at it eventually. Ya know? (Impala)

I'd like an Impala or Caprice just to scare people.

How come, everyone who posts a kill story always has to include some kindof mechanical problem that their is supposedly suffering from at the time of this race. And they say that they have so much pedal left. If any of it is actually true, why don't you people maintain your cars..?

Just a curious thought, i'm starting to wonder..
Don't post when you are high/drunk/stupid unless your a professional. The last statement "why don't you people maintain your cars..?" has jack **** to do with what you were saying. None of it has any revolence to go along with your question and anyone who reads it can only be dumber for it.

There is one of 2 impalas I would ever drive. My friends 64 Impala. Or a 1995 Impala SS with the LS1 engine in it...
'95 Impala SS'* have LT1'* in them. They sound fast, they look fast, and they aren't fast, but they are nice cars.

I'd like an Impala or Caprice just to scare people.
How would that scare people? You going to put a light bar on top, spotlights in front of the mirrors, and police badges on the side of the car or something? Because if you did that would be hella cool. (And hella illegal)

It has more. Series 2 3800.
It might have more. The 3.8 is an option, the 3400 is standard. I don't know about the 2004 models when they come out though. Since the L67 is now going to be available they may be dropping the 3400. (Yay!)

Ours only had the 3400 in it and it didn't have very good highway merging power to it. Although it only had 12 miles on it when I drove it so that might of had something to do with it.
I don't think it had anything to do with the 12 miles. All N/A V6'* feel very wimpy to me at highway speeds. They have lowend power, they aren't designed for highway power. When we are driving down the highway in our '48 GMC with a 350 *.B. out of a '70 Camaro, from a 75 mph punch even it feels wimpy to me, and it should not, because it is not wimpy, and it is a V8 the highway is where it should make the biggest difference over a V6. I think the Supercharger makes all the difference, I really do, without it pushrod engines don't breathe well enough up top. The SSEi and GTP have plenty of power on the highway, much more than the *.B. V8 in the truck. Forced Induction is awesome, every car needs it.
