Default 1990 Pontiac 6000 AWD Rarity?

I own a 1990 Pontiac 6000 AWD and was wondering if anyone knew how rare they were. Im trying to find out how many still exist and if its worth fixing up.

I seen somewhere that around 2000 of them were produced.

How many are left on the road today? Probably 10.

Whether it'* worth fixing up or not will be up to you. It will likely be a labor of love, and you would likely be upside down on it financially, but it is also a potentially interesting car that hardly anyone sees anymore.

It will only be worth what someone is willing to pay, which likely is not much.

It would make a sweet drive-train swap candidate though, although it would be a full custom job, and parts for that car will likely be pretty hard to come by, mainly because they are pretty much crushed by now.

There are a few on the A-body forum. A lot of unique and unavailable parts.

Sorry been out of the loop for a few days. That'* a cool one. Body parts and engine parts might be available from their FWD brethren . . . what few are left. The transmission should be able to be worked on by about any normal transmission shop, with the possible exception of the PTO. I've probably seen 15 of them in the last ten years . . . all but one on the Internet. I agree: labor of love, and maybe upside down on value.

I have an idea that the PTO for the rear half of the AWD is a distant relative of the PTO used on the Aztek and Rendezvous. Maaaaaybe the rear differential is similar as well?
