Default 180-T

DeathRat, When I went to my local dealership to pull up the RPO codes for my 1992 I asked about the 180 therm and the tranny cooler. They only stock the 195. I am assuming the 180-T is a do-it-yourself fix? They quoted me a price of $265.00 for the tranny cooler.

Yup, the 180 is considered "an aftermarket mod" by most shops. It'* something about replaceing a stock piece with a non-stock piece. If you need one you can probably get one from one of the vendors on this forum or even your local auto parts store.

The GM Dealer will NOT carry any 180 T-Stat'*! that'* why you must get them from Napa or the like stores! For T-Stat prices, see here: http://www.bonnevilleattitude.com/st...?cPath=278_492
The Dealer might have been quoting you on this: http://www.bonnevilleattitude.com/fo...bb989d6043c707
The V92 Aux. Trailer Package Option for the 92 Bonneville!
Well I can get you a TruCool Trans Cooler #4454 Thermatically controlled 18,000 lbs'er for $ 110 Cdn! This is the exact same cooler we use at work (GM Dealership).

Actually GM doesn't know **** about me selling parts on the side! My suppliers are very loyal to me & most are some of my personal friends too. Besides, I don't even buy parts from work for my store! I can get a better deal from some of my suppliers so I don't have too. Iin fact, some suppliers give me a better price than even my work gets the exact same part for!
