well i've been driving my dads 05 buick lesabre since my accident in my bonne.

i've been doing some work for him while i've had it. so far iv'e changed a bad wheel bearing, baut 2 new michellin hydroedges, and changed his low beams to silverstar ultras.
I do a lot of driving at night and the hi-beams really arent cutting it for me any more, iv'e read a lot about silverstar and silver star ultras and from what i've read and my experence theyre not really worth the money. But i know where i could ge some 100W 9005'* for about the same price as ultras.
The thing that conserns me is from what I've read is GM cheaped out on the wiring harness on these cars and i dont want to start a fire in my dads car. what does everyone here think about 100w 9005'*?

X2....The bulbs may get hot enough to cause separation of the seals on the light assembly. As they cool down, they will create a vacuum and can draw in water. Once you get water into the assembly, it a real bear to get out and will eventually causes rust on metal parts and sometimes algae.
