Most organizations evolve from their original intended purpose over time. That'* why the About the site description doesn't seem to fit any more.
So what HAVE we become? (btw, I've done several of these types of things.....both at work and with the local PD/City Governement).

Well I think of this place as a CLUB only because we're like one big family here! A "site" wouldn't have members that went over & abound like this club'* members did when this server crashed! Just my $0.02 worth here!

This is where I hoped the thread would go, a discussion about purpose but not heavy or anything.
I too think of us as a Club and most Club'* have a purpose even if that purpose is just to have fun.
To date we function on the following
1) Tech Info
2) Auto Repair help
3) Meets and gatherings
4) Recreation and Fun
5) Specs and Rpo'*
6) Modifaction details and how too'*
etc.
Why would we want to do this? It gives us structre and help in dealings with business and Legal matters. Also helps pave the way for the future ie, Sema functions, liason with Gm over product recomendations, or what ever we as a group decide?
