Default Ad at end of thread

It appears that by the addition of sponsor ads at the end of threads, the practice will not allow us to delete a post. I have had this happen twice after making a mistake. Can this be corrected with code?

I'll fourth or fifth that..

I believe you can delete as long as there'* no views or no one starting to post after you.

Thats the problem, Bill. The server thinks the ad is a post so it doesnt allow for a deletion. If it is a simple typo or rewording you want, editing is easy enuough. But there are times such as not realizing a thread has gone into multible pages and the issue is resolved already. It makes You look redundant and wastes time and space.

The ad isn't preventing you from deleting your post. You can't delete it (as a member) if someone has already read it. You can only edit.

Unless I'm misunderstanding the problem you're having. If the ad is there, simply refresh, and it'll probably disappear. It'* random.

It'* because it posts after you do. Just hit refresh once or twice, the ad will be gone, then delete your reply.

Or don't make misteaks in the frist plase. :P
