Will that sounds kicks ***. Can we have some pics of your heatshield?

Sounds like an X-Wing starting up with all the bells and wistles. Are those your Radar Detectors?

Yup. Stock sounds, plus the front and rear detectors. My heat shield is fugly. I'll post pics when I get the final version built.

As far as daytime video is concerned......I might, but not where I was last night. I don't want distinguishable landmarks. I have too many......uh......connections around here. I'd rather not have people know for sure where I did that.

Cool vids. Thanks for sharing them. I like the sound you're getting from your setup.
Heh heh, jumping railroad tracks, that brings back some memories. Youth and ignorance were fun, looking back....

Oh. I see.

One thing is a little confusing though with your 0-100mph run. The video is 15 seconds long and you are only doing 90 at the end of it.?? Knock Retard ? Should have been closer to 100 !

You can't see in the video, but there was a car up ahead of me. I held off the throttle until he turned off the road. I wasn't quite at WOT. (and I had the AC on auto, and didn't have perf shift on). I never plan ahead on those two things. Always forget.

Everyone'* got excuses, huh?

You're excused.

Another silly question, if you don't mind. When you were playing with the throttle and you said the boost gauge was hitting 12 psi , I couldn't really see your gauges well enough. What does the scale go up to ? Mine is in KPa and max'* at 70 KPa or 10 psi.
Also if you are just blipping the throttle, were were your engine rpm'*. Don't superchargers make maximum boost at the upper engine rpm like over 5000. Or do they peak at a lower rpm and dump excess boost at 5000 - 6000 rpm ?

Bullet,
My gauge only goes to 10psi. I'm in much the same boat as Jeffrey, so we have to estimate about 2 or 3 clicks off the scale. I've thought about an aftermarket boost gauge that goes beyond 10psi, but I like my trans temp and voltmeter better. I still have a good idea of my boost. The gauges just don't show up at night very well. I'll try to snap some daytime vid of the gauge pegged. (btw, my water/alcohol injection was NOT in the car last night).
When I was blipping the throttle, my rpms were low (below 3500) in second gear. I reach max boost 12/13 psi almost INSTANTLY on WOT. Before my rpms even reach 3500 rpms. I'd have to check to be sure. I assume it just dumps excess beyond that. Jeffrey, you're running similar if not more boost. What'* your take on all this?
