what is the difference between a supercharger and a turbo?

Default what is the difference between a supercharger and a turbo?

im sure this has been asked before but i been wondering and nobody i know knows, so what exactly is the difference, if any, between a turbo charger and supercharger?

One uses a tubine that is turned by exhaust gas to turn the compressor. Purely centrifigul. That is a turbo. A supercharger is driven by a belt with the rest of the accessories. It can be centrifigul, roots, lysolm, screw...
