i have a 93' ssei and i was wondering if that car can run without the supercharger, because i think that my supercharger is going out and the car is not running good at all. When i ma at about 35 and try to go faster the car wont go any faster and sounds weird. Thanks
So what exactly does the SC do, and how sure are you that the SC is the problem? SC'* don't usually 'go out'.
Is there oil in the nosedrive? Does it make noise only at idle? When you take the belt off and turn it by hand, what do you see and feel? If you start the car with this belt off, does the sound go away (don't run too long like this).
Your water pump is driven by the same belt as the SC.
Moving to Forced Induction.

Check your coil packs...I had a similar issue a few months back. The car can not run with out the super charger check out this pic of the underside of mine and your */C. The way the */C is set up there is no way the motor can get the sufficient airflow that it needs. When you get on it does it feel like the car completely stalled except the motor is still running but the more fuel you give it the slower the RPM'* get?
Not true. Series 2 can run without the SC, with decreased performance. Because their water pump is on another belt.
If it weren't for the water pump issue, we too, could run without the SC.

Cool. Just making sure everyone was on the same page. Go to an electric water pump, and run without the SC all you want, but for the cost of repairs (cheap) fix the sc if it'* actually the problem.

well what happens is that i hear the whining of the supercharger and the boost gage goes up and all but the car starts to sounds like it is going to stall and its gets all jerky, just like you said, i have no idea what any parts of this car are at all and i cant see your picture. I dont want ot have to take this to GM to get it fixed because i just spent all my money on it
Doesn't sound like a SC problem to me. Try this:

And come back to us with the codes you get.
