Expensive yes, hmmmm

I'll keep licking my finger and putting it on the lower intake as a gauge.

Well I bit the Bullet and used the credit card to purchase the Autometer gauge today.

It is just as shown in the pic......$330. with tax :(

But a quality piece.

Boosty, I could use your talents re-crafting my "made for a GTP" twin gauge pod. I brought it WCBF in the hopes we might find time to modify it but, sigh, never enough time.

For now I'll just duct tape it to the dash.

Now, I still need some opinions on optimum placement of both the temp probe and the water injection nozzle.
Three possible locations for two drilled 1/8" NPT holes.
Passenger side under the snout, rear of the engine between Cyl.2 & 4 and front of the engine between Cyl. 3 & 5. Both locations would be inside the pocket under the
SC so wouldn't be accessible without removing the SC so I need to get it right the first time.
The picture on the previous page shows the temp probe at the rear of the engine between Cyl.2 & 4.

So, do you think the nozzle and probe as shown above or reversed :?:

Paul, on the air temp and injection nozzle. Is there any reason why the end of the LIM by the vacuum port for the MAP readings wouldn't be used?

Seems like an easier place to locate and later service those items if necessary.

Bill, the reason I have dismissed this location is besides being a farther routing, the location is almost directly into intake port #1.

The location I have chosen is much closer and more central to all cylinders.

See the pics I posted in my Gen V swap thread.
