Gen3 is a bad idea. You'll need a MUCH larger SC pulley than you already have. Not sure you can make that work. You need a 91-93 Gen2. Not a 94/95 Gen3.

I don't think we know it would be a bad idea. We don't know how much boost he had, or if he had KR.

I'm assuming he chose the pulley size he did for a specific reason. Going larger would be costly, and other than that, there'* no real disadvantage to staying with the Gen2.

Changing now (assuming he chose the right pulley to begin with) would cost him yet another pulley.

If he has to get another SC, and he can find a larger pulley at a reasonable price to get the same boost, I would do it to get the cooler boost charge.

^ saposedly I already have the largest pulley I could get for the m62. Iam pretty sure the previous owner got it from pulleyboys.... Its pretty big~12psi

Stock comp is 9.8:1. my head shim will drop that figure one full point.

Trust me this motor will be tuned correctly also. I have a MegaSquirt controlling fuel and spark. Hooks rite up to a laptop to adjust and load maps, plus datalog.

There will be no detonation....
