I am intriqued by all this pulley talk. I don't like the idea of really cranking up the revs on my supercharger, for longevity purposes.
But when I went on pulleyboys.com, I nothiced they make a ton of sizes for the style 1 vehicles. Cool idea. What is the stock size? I am sure it is on here somewhere, maybe it is 3 inch? Anyways, has anyone tried one of the milder upgrades? I could get into maybe a small tweak.

92-93 had a 2.55" pulley, 94-95 was like 2.8". alot of people use a stock 92-93 to upgrade a 94-95. the 94-95 has a larger Tb and inlet opening than the 92-93
this is why they slow the SC down on the 94-95 to produce the same air flow per say
also if you do regular maint. on your car, you should have no problems with a smaller pulley

For a 92/93, you really need another piece. An oversized idler pulley from ZZP is critical in my opinion. Belt slip is a major concern. Go here to see why (scroll through....the pics are farther down):

Not as critical, but it couldn't hurt. It'll give you more belt wrap, and it'll keep the idler from near the end of travel after the smaller SC pulley. It was a little tight when I put it on, but the belt stretch made it perfect.

i have a 2.00" pulley on my car. the belt wraps over 180*( more than half way around the pulley) my belt hasnt slipped yet. boost stays great.
according to the sizes of the pulleys that are on my car(92ssei), with a stock pulley,the SC spins at 14,000 rpm'* @ 5500 engine rpm'* . with the 2.00" pulley, it spins at 19,100 rpms.
