Can moderate overfilling of the engine oil harm the engine - particularly the supercharged 380.

Yes, overfilling the oil in ANY engine [from a one cylinder lawn mower engine, to 4,000hp funny car]. Just drain out the extra oil from the oil pan.. or unscrew the oil filter, drain out what'* in there, and let a little drain out from the down pipe. Chances are, that will suffice, unless you poured in an extra quart or more.

EDIT: and most important, DON'T run the car! Get the extra oil out of there ASAP!
