Default oil pan oil level sensor

I have to change out the oil level sensor on a 97 gp motor I am putting in a 1995 bonneville. THe one in the boneville just turns right out. How does the one on the 97 gp come out? Do I have to drop the pan??Thanks

Forget the sensor. You need to swap PANS. Keep your original pan and sensor.

I'm not sure that the pans need to be changed. IIRC GP pan is fine in a Bonne because of all our clearance.

The sensor probably unscrews like ours. Afterall..it'* the same basic motor.
