Gatorbacks should work fine (personally I have not test other brands but find no need too). You need a 4060715 belt and stock sized tensioner for the best grip on a 3.4 pulley.

Hrm.... I always thought Gatorback was the best belts for our cars......
But I've had slippage on two belts thus far..... just thought I'd have to live with it.

Might try those "Gates" belts.... and see how well they work.

I have to admit, when I went with Gatorback on my '93, that was the first time I noticed some belt slip as well.

First off I'm prob. spinning the smallest SC pulley on this forum (2"), so I've had to deal with belt slip prob. the most. I started off with a gatorback because it is what was on the car when I got it. Because of the nice warranty I handed it in for a smaller gatorback belt when I went to a 2" SC pulley for free. Instantly I was fighting belt slippage which caused me to go back to the auto parts store multiple times trying tighter and tighter belts. By this time I actually spun 2 belts right threw where the top of the rib hits the belt. Finally I gave up on the gatorback and tried a gates belt. Instantly I had 0 belt slip even on an ANSI pulley.

You can decide which one you want to believe or what will work best for you.

The ANSI groove angle is spec'd to 40 deg, the ZZP pulleys narrow up the V to 37 "pinching" the belt. I believe the SFPHQ pulleys are 35 deg. What you will notice is funny about the picture with the red, green and black designs is that it shows a "competitor'*" pulley with the groove too wide. Strange since iintense uses the widest V of any manufacture (40 deg)

BTW< we recommend using Gates belts. We have a pulley slip tester and the Gates consitently outperms the other brands.
