Default Hey guys need help!!!!!

Guys I just found out that I need a new supercharger for my 1999 SSEi. I took the car to 2 different dealerships and to a shop here in Winchester that specializes in superchsrgers and turbochargers and I found out that I need another one. I need help with finding a rebuilt supercharger for my car. Thanks guys!

You better check that out CLOSE. The supercharger couplers are known to go bad over the years on these, and many MANY places try to push you into buying another supercharger because it'* "bad". The superchargers rarely go bad altogether from what i hear. Someone with a supercharged car will chime in soon.

Okay thanks. The problem I am having is that there is a knocking sound in the supercharger now I am not real sure about them I hope it is just a coupler. Thanks again

Does it rattle just at idle? Try this, take the SC belt off and turn the SC pulley, is there slop (coupler)? Try to mive it up and down, left and right, does it wiggle (nose drive bearings)? Try to explain as clearly as you can.

Another question about superchargers. When you accelerate hard is there a hesitation in the supecharger and then all of a sudden there is a big boost?? Just curious because my 99 does that.
