Gen2/Gen3 TB brackets the same?
Yes, I'm also running the stock 92/93 bracket on my Gen3 swap, but it'* VERY close to touching the throttle cable. Be very careful and pay attention.
On the Gen3 swap, I hope your OBD2 conversion let'* you tune it in well. John and I have both fought it long and hard, and usually discourage members from doing it for that reason.

Theoretically, it should. It'* tuned pretty well to the 2.2 pulley, and I tend to tune richer than normal for a safety buffer. Besides, that TB comes with a TPS sensor, so it'* justifyable
You'll need the MAF sensor also. They are not the same. The TPS is the same. (with the exception of some 92'*).
You'll need to cut a small gasket for the EGR stovepipe to SC connection. Pics of mine are posted in a couple topics.

I will use just the TPS for the time being. This way I got time to port, polish, and paint everything
