GEN V BCS same as GEN III?

I got my GEN V in today, but the f'ers did an extremely poor job of either packaging or uninstalling from the totalled out 2006 GTP -every vacuum fitting was broke as was the Drive By Wire TB plug in (completely oblitereated).
So basically, does the GEN III BCS work on the GEN V ( I assume it'* the same), and what the hell is the sensor on the back side of the TB? It'* going to need a new one of those as well.

its for the evap system if im correct and you cant use the the drive by wire anyway since you are a 99 most people are running a ls1 or
N*star TB with a gen 5
