Default Do I put GM Gasket Maker on both sides of my snout?

Do I seal both sides of my snout with gasket maker on the rotor side and the coupler side when I take it apart? Thanks

You won't need to. The tolerances of the machining is extremely good and only a very light amount is needed to add a sealing property to the metal. Undoubtedly some will ooze out of the casing and need to be wiped off.

Each time this happens to me, no matter how light I put it on.

What seals the sides the turbine blades are on? Do I use gasket maker on that side as well? Thanks

You can... I've done it with and without and noticed no difference.

I use red RTV and make a very small bead. Way cheaper the the GM stuff and works just as well.
