Would I gain some if I switched to colder plugs (my N/A 1994 SLE)?
I have a Cold air intake, single 3" inlet w/dual 2.5" outlets Magnaflow Wide Open muffler, 180* t-stat, Taylor 8mm Spiro Pro wires, and removed the MAF screen from the TB, and always run 92+ octane. I also have a Superchip, but have to install it yet.
I lost low end torque, but gained torque in the higher rpms with the 3" muffler, but with the superchip I might gain the low end torque back and I also plan on getting the lower intake and exhaust manifolds ported and polished and with that stuff done I hope to have my low end torque back up to, or above what it was before the Magnaflow.
Anyhow, should I be using colder plugs? Right now I just have NGK V-powers (I believe they are the TR55'* -whatever is specified for the stock 3800 anyhow).
