I use simple green to clean the entire engine.

Simple Green won't touch the carbon buildup on the rotors or inside the casing. Castrol SuperClean will.

Nah! Thinks me will do coupler soon though and smaller pulley.

Yeah. To be honest with you, I did an initial cleaning because this is the first time I've taken one of these things apart and I wanted to see wth I was doing . I also thought this was what I was supposed to do first

I'll make sure to have SuperClean on hand after I get the goo of doom out of the nose cone.

jdq, you're lucky, you can pull the nose off without taking the top end of your engine apart

While I'm here this thing is getting everything except a nose drive rebuild. New rotor bearings, coupler, and some other stuff. Course its gonna have to wait until I get certain other car issues resolved before it gets swapped with the one on the car.

Looks nice and clean Aaron...I see you used the ole "bucket in the tub" trick to do it.

My spare was dirty enough that you couldn't tell what color it was.
