98 BONNEVILLE SSEI
MY 98 HAS A SLIGHT TINNY NOISE UPON ACCELERATION ONLY WHEN THE BOOST KICKS IN FROM THE SUPER CHARGER. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM? AND WHAT IS MOST LIKELY THE CULPRIT. IM THINKING IT MIGHT BE JUST THE NOSE CONE BUT NOT REALLY SURE HAVENT REALLY DIAGNOSED OR TOOK OF THE BELT TO CHECK FOR PLAY IN THE SNOUT. HAS ANYONE PUT IN THE SMALLER PULLEY AND IF I DO DOTHIS SHOULD I USE CERAMIC BEARING VERSUS NORMAL OE BEARING BECAUSE OF HEAT AND LESS ROLLING FRICTION. MY CAR HAS 168,000 MILES ON IT AND IS IN ALL AROUND GOOD SHAPE FOR ITS MILEAGE.. IS IT A GOOD CHOICE OR SHOULD I JUST LEAVE IT FACTORY AND JUST DO CERAMIC BEARINGS?

Two quick things:
1. All caps is yelling on the internet.
2. Please edit your profile and add your year and model to your signature. It'll help us help you.
Nosedrive issues USUALLY are only obvious at idle. If you release your SC belt and spin the SC, and don't feel any grinding or left/right/in/out slop in the pulley, and you still achieve 7-8psi of boost at wide open throttle (WOT), your issue is most likely NOT the supercharger.
Let'* nail this down and move your topic to the right section if needed.
